Job description:

You contribute to the energy transition in the chemical industry using the Power-to-Chemicals concept. In co-operation with an interdisciplinary team, you will develop and optimize the design of an electrolyzer for the pro-duction of chemicals. You will also provide support in the upscaling of an organic electrochemical process into industrial scale production. Your contribution will focus in particular on the analysis of the reaction and transport processes under a wide range of process conditions. This will allow you to identify a correlation between pro-cess parameters and performance. From your research results you will derive essential and technically rele-vant insights into process limitations and develop proposals for optimizing the electrolyzer design and operating conditions.
