Postdoc and Ph.D. student position in the study of RNA fate in the oocyte and embryo development.

The Laboratory of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of Germs Cells (Dr. Andrej Susor), invites applications for a postdoctoral position and Ph.D. studentship.

Description of the job

·        We are looking for a motivated person capable of conceptual thinking. The research is focused on RNA metabolism related to the control of gene expression in the mammalian cell. 

 Requirements

·        The successful candidate should be highly motivated; display initiative and independence.

·        The applicant should hold a University MSc, PhD or equivalent in Cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry or related field.

·        Be fluent in English and have the willingness to learn and apply new techniques where required. 

·        Applicant should be able to work independently, as well as a member of a team.

Conditions

·        Full-time position will commence as soon as possible and will extend at least over 12 months with an evaluation period of 3 months.
