Post Doctoral Scholar

The postdoctoral scholar will participate in research focused on the study and therapeutic regulation of immunopathology during respiratory virus infection. The successful candidate will join a vibrant and collaborative laboratory team where there is also opportunity to participate in the mentoring and training of the next generation of research scholars.

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctorate from a accredited institution in a relevant life science discipline. An applicant whose transcript does not indicate the doctoral degree has been conferred by their university should provide documentation from their graduate faculty that all requirements for the doctorate, including dissertation and doctoral internship, are expected to be completed before the start date. ABD’s will also be considered.

Preferred Qualification:

Preference will be given to candidates with a strong background in cellular immunology and/or infectious disease, as well as those with expertise in sterile technique, cell culture, molecular biology, animal infectious disease models, and flow cytometry. In addition, a track record of scientific productivity, as well as excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
