The Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology, and Society (TILT) at the Tilburg Law School, Tilburg University, is looking for a Post-Doctoral Researcher in Digital Mental Health. Working in a small interdisciplinary team, it will be your task to conduct in-depth doctrinal and empirical research on technologies in and for mental health, in order to study their ethical, social and legal consequences. In addition, you will contribute to education within TILT, for instance in our LLM program Law & Technology.

Within the interdisciplinary project entitled “Boundaries in Digital Mental Health: Ethical, Legal, and Social Issues in Negotiating Responsibilities”, the Post-Doctoral Researcher will conduct doctrinal and empirical research (e.g. interviews, observations) independently, though supervised by Dr. Tineke Broer. The researcher is expected to co-author on several publications, take the lead in organizing symposia, be a liaison person for other researchers in TLS who are working on digital health, and will present the research at conferences and symposia. In addition, for 20% of their employment, the researcher will participate in various Bachelor- and Master courses and will supervise thesis students. In addition to these key tasks and in light of team science and team spirit, the researcher is expected to actively participate in department meetings, research meetings, and TILT seminars, and to show an interest in the interdisciplinary work TILT is engaged in.
