Post-Doctoral Research Fellows (South Asia)

The Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS) at the National University of Singapore invites applications for post-doctoral positions.

 

The successful candidates will be part of one or more of the Institute’s five research clusters – International Relations, Multipolarity and Multilateralism; Politics, Society and Governance; Trade and Economics; New Technologies; and Sustainability and the Environment.

 

Established in 2004, ISAS is dedicated to research on contemporary South Asia.

Criteria

The candidate shall possess the following criteria:

 

  • Successfully submitted his/her PhD thesis and/or completed his/her PhD in South Asia’s international relations, South Asian studies or related research fields.
     
  • A strong theoretical and empirical grounding in the areas of South Asian politics, society and development.
