Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 523369), to commence as soon as possible for one year with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree preferably in Biological/Biomedical Sciences/Bioinformatics or a related discipline.  Preference will be given to those with experience in one of the following research fields – cancer bioinformatics, cancer biology and/or cancer immunology; as well as cell culture, cellular/molecular biology, flow cytometry and animal studies, related research work. Applicants should be self-motivated, have the ability to multi-task with attention to detail, be organized and be able to work independently as well as in a team of about 20 people. The appointee will work under the supervision of Professor Stephanie Ma on research projects relating to exploiting stemness as a cancer cell vulnerability as part of a collaborative research-based project.  For further information, please contact Professor Ma at [email protected] .  Details of Professor Ma’s research can also be found at http://thesmalab.com/ .
