This is a full-time two-year contract excluded Management and Professional Staff position. Secondments will also be considered for this position.
The University of Alberta is searching for an outstanding leader and innovator to assume the position of Portfolio Initiatives Manager – Programs in the Office of the Provost and Vice-President (Academic). The Portfolio Initiatives Manager – Programs plays a key role in advancing the strategic goals and initiatives of the Office of the Provost, including those identified in SHAPE, the University’s Strategic Plan.
Reporting to the Vice-Provost (Programs), this position works to ensure the progression of academic programming priorities and initiatives. The incumbent will work in a collegial, cooperative and transparent manner, in managing processes with a University-wide impact for the Portfolio.
