Policy Officer (Student Race Equality)

This is a one-year fixed-term contact. Secondments are considered.
The Education Policy Support Section supports the PVC Education in the development of education policy and the management of quality assurance and enhancement across the collegiate University. The section services Education Committee and its subcommittees, provides advice and guidance to departments, faculties and colleges within Oxford, and handles certain types of student cases.
This post is based in Education Policy Support (EPS) and collaborates closely with the Equality and Diversity Unit (EDU) and Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL). The role will focus on student race equality issues as identified by the University’s Race Equality Task Force. The post holder will support the University’s pre-existing commitments on student race equality in our Race Equality Charter application (REC) and play a key role in proposing new targets and activities for the next Access and Participation Plan.
