Job Description

Provide support for SOC’s biweekly “Media in the Mix” Podcast 

• Writing descriptions for episodes/episode titles if host is unavailable to do so  


•  Transcript for each podcast episode  


•  Use the automated feature, go back, and edit the transcript to reflect the proper terminology  


•   Follow-up on graphics/promotional material for each podcast episode  


•   Book the podcast studio


Work Environment

Some on-campus presence may be required to help with actual podcast production in our on-campus studio, but much of the position could be performed remotely. 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time position for roughly 10 hours every two weeks. Because the podcast is issued biweekly, the workload will tend to be heaviest two weeks per month. 

Salary Range

This position pays $16.10/hour.
