Job Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled Physics Tutor to provide academic support to students based on the Ontario curriculum and beyond. As a Physics Tutor, you will:

• Help students gain a deeper understanding of physics concepts and principles.

• Provide targeted supplemental assignments to reinforce material and improve student comprehension.

• Offer both remedial and enrichment support for students at varying levels of proficiency.

• Maintain clear communication with parents or guardians regarding student progress.

• Tailor lessons to meet individual student needs and learning styles.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for a Physics tutor who meets the following criteria:

• Energetic and enthusiastic about teaching physics.

• Experienced in teaching physics (secondary school or university level preferred).

• Committed to providing excellent customer service and helping students achieve their full potential.

• Passionate about working with students and fostering a positive learning environment.

• Strong communication skills, both with students and parents.

A qualified applicant will meet at least one of the following criteria:

• You hold a registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.

• You are qualified to teach in a Canadian province/territory outside of Ontario.

• You are qualified to teach in the United States.

• You are a current teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education.

• You have experience as a lecturer or course instructor in physics at an accredited Canadian university or college.
