The Department of Physical Therapy invites applications for a full-time tenured or probationary (tenure-track) position at the Assistant, Associate or Professor rank, commencing April 1, 2026, or on a date mutually agreed upon. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The Department seeks a scholar with a commitment to excellence in teaching and research. Exceptional candidates at any rank will be considered with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below:
Required
• PhD or all but dissertation (ABD) PhD
• Must be able to articulate a research program
• Must be eligible for licensure in Manitoba as a Physical Therapist
• Must have teaching experience or have completed teaching/learning course work at a university level

The Department currently has six full time tenured and tenure-track faculty members and seven instructors and offers a professional graduate program in Physical Therapy. Faculty members also participate in the delivery of the Master of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences and the PhD in Applied Health Sciences. Research-focused faculty members conduct research in various fields. The College of Rehabilitation Sciences has a rich history of research, education, and service to systematically oppressed communities and is strategically working to provide high‐quality graduate and undergraduate teaching and to extend community outreach. The college is one of six in the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences.
