Offer Description
Cancer cells frequently display abnormal glycosylation patterns on their cell-surface proteins and lipids, offering potential tumor biomarkers for precise disease monitoring. Furthermore, the unique glycan profiles of tumors provide appealing targets for cancer immunotherapy. This project seeks to exploit tumor-specific glycosylation for the creation of novel diagnostic tools and immunotherapeutic approaches.
The research fellow must take part in the Faculty’s approved PhD program and is expected to complete the project within the set fellowship period. The main purpose of the fellowship is research training leading to the successful completion of a PhD degree.
