Position Summary
A California registered technician who under the supervision of a Pharmacist, packages, prepares and compounds oral, injectable, and other medications, including Chemotherapy/Biohazard medications. Maintains control procedures, performs inventory and stock control. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel. This role supports new patient enrollment, including patient assistance programs and prior authorizations, for all patients referred for specialty medications. Additionally, will be responsible for some technical aspects of retail/outpatient pharmacy operations.
