Our 886-bed nonprofit, acute, tertiary, teaching Level I trauma center hospital is located in the heart of Los Angeles. The Pharmacy Department has over 450 staff members who provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services as well as outpatient services via two cancer centers, outpatient pharmacies and ambulatory care clinics.

We are affiliated with several Schools of Pharmacy and offers PGY1 and PGY2 residency programs. The residency and student experiential programs at CSMC continue to grow with every successive year, where over 125 residents have graduated from the accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency program since 1985 and more than 200 student rotations are offered at CSMC annually. Recently, CSMC was recognized as “Site of the Year” awards by two major affiliated CA Schools of Pharmacy for providing an exceptional experiential learning environment for their students.

As Pharmacy Drug Use Policy (DUP) Manager at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will be collaborating with medical, nursing, pharmacy and healthcare team members on the development, maintenance and implementation of drug use policies, protocols and initiatives, drug information services and the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program.
The Manager is also responsible for human resources management of the DUP team which consists of 6 Drug Use Policy Specialists and 2 Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacists. Other responsibilities include but not limited to strategic planning for biologics and therapeutic advances; collaborating with medical staff in development of evidence based guidelines; evaluating new drugs for the formulary; development of content for the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee meetings; collaborate with staff on complex therapeutic issues and target drug programs.
