We are currently recruiting for a Lecturer in Counselling (1 FTE). As we continue to develop our counselling portfolio, with the introduction of a newly re-validated BA (hons) Counselling single honours degree in addition to joint and combined honours programmes, we are seeking an innovative and dynamic lecturer to support the growth of our counselling provision at BGU.

We are looking for someone with experience of counselling practice who is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). In addition, we are looking for someone with experience of teaching in Higher Education to support our continued growth. The role will have responsibility for teaching and supervision of student projects on undergraduate programmes.  Working collaboratively, the role will have responsibility to work as part of the team in student recruitment activities and in working across the university to ensure the standards and quality of programme outcomes. We would consider those seeking a part time position who wish to remain in practice.
