UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking an entry level Application Developer Analyst to join the Applications, Development, and Integrations Team, a unit within UFIT. Employment with UFIT provides an excellent opportunity to work with other employees dedicated and focused on understanding and interpreting the technological needs of the University of Florida’s innovative and inspirational community. The Applications, Development, and Integrations Team is focused on building and enhancing enterprise solutions to support critical business processes for the University of Florida. We are looking for skilled team members who enjoy using their creative talents to produce business solutions which address the needs of our customers. You will participate in projects to solve business problems and create efficiency. You will work in a collaborative, team environment, participate in the full software development life cycle and produce quality enterprise solutions. You will be required to meet with customers, analyze requirements, propose solutions, create design specifications and prototypes, develop and test new code and document solutions. You will perform enhancements and help maintain existing applications. You must have excellent communication skills, keep current with the latest trends in application development and have a history of producing quality work. Qualified candidates will have working experience with one or more programming languages as well as SQL (structured query language) and database design. Benefits Full-time TEAMS employees will accrue vacation leave at a rate of 6.769 hours biweekly/22 days annually and sick leave at a rate of 4 hours biweekly/13 days annually. In addition, employees are eligible for ten paid holidays each year. Vacation accruing TEAMS employees are eligible for four personal leave days/32 hours per year, assuming full-time status, and are intended to give the flexibility to enable units to close from December 26 to 31 when possible, determined on a unit-by-unit basis. | Expected Salary: |
$52,500 – $60,000; commensurate based on education and experience. |
| Minimum Requirements: |
Associate’s degree; or a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. |
