Job Summary The Department of Psychiatry is hiring a Patient Services Coordinator Senior position which will serve as an integral part of our leadership team. This individual will be the primary supervisor for the PRAs who register all the patients and answer phones. This role will work closely with departmental leadership to manage the support staff and ensure an efficient use of time, distribution of support evenly across each staff member and establish and manage systems for tracking of general support, scheduling of patients, completion of tasks in the electronic health record and monitoring support staff interaction with patients and providers to ensure a high level of customer service is maintained. This position will provide support for staff and faculty, manage day-to-day operations of the front desks (covers two clinics), and work on miscellaneous projects that come up from the Department of Psychiatry.
Qualified candidates will have experience supervision experience in managing projects and/or staff employees, excellent oral and written communication skills and a positive, and have a team-oriented approach to their work.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent computer skills, experience with EPIC preferred.

Preferred Education/Experience High School/GED plus 4 or more years of related experience in providing support in a medical setting preferred.
