YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
WHAT YOU’LL DO

In this role you will demonstrate inspirational and visible clinical leadership to ensure pathways are embedded to deliver high quality care for our patients.

You will support the strategic planning to improve quality of care through same day emergency care and admission avoidance initiatives, reducing extended hospital admissions and integration with the community and local providers.

You will provide senior nursing leadership to the advanced clinical practice agenda across the division.

The role will also have professional leadership oversight of a variety of teams including Phlebotomy, Divisional Governance team, and ACP/tACP’s in Medicine, Out of hours and the over 80’s same day emergency care.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You will be a key member of the divisional management team, working to innovate and change care pathways, as well as support our financial performance and NHS long-term strategies for the benefit of patients and the trust.

You will require a high level of organisational skill and have a resourceful and professional approach to work. You should be able to demonstrate excellent inter-personal and communication skills and have the ability to forge and maintain relationships with a variety of clinical and non-clinical staff.

You will be able to demonstrate outstanding leadership skills, with evidence of change management including culture and clinical service transformation resulting in enhanced patient care and outcomes. Experience of managing inpatient services is hugely desirable.
