Partner Engagement Manager: Internships (HEO 8)

  • Open to Australian Aboriginal Peoples and UniSA employees only
  • Part-time (0.5FTE), fixed term contract or secondment until 31 July 2023 based in UniSA Business at the City West campus
  • Salary range: $104,143 – $117,307 (pro rata) per annum (plus 17% superannuation)


About the Role
 

You will be focused on the development and management of an internships program within the UniSA Business School, strengthening links between the Business School and industry and sourcing real-world workplace experience opportunities for our students. 

You will identify and negotiate internship opportunities with industry, build relationships with key internal stakeholders and external organisations, and design and implement support systems and processes.

Core Responsibilities 

  • Establish, develop and maintain strategic relationships with key external stakeholders, and cultivate new clients in their respective sectors
  • Build relationships and consult extensively and regularly with key internal stakeholders
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans for specified programs to support the achievement of agreed internship targets
  • Develop and execute internship agreements, consistent with the strategic directions of UniSA Business and the University
  • Provide expert strategic advice and guidance to key internal stakeholders on all aspects of internship activities

Essential Skills and Experience 

  • Postgraduate qualifications in business or a related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrated experience in generating new business and managing strategic relationships
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and documenting systematic approached to work processes
  • Demonstrated research and analytical skills, including the provision of advice to senior managers
  • Demonstrated experience working in, or with, industry relevant to the teaching programs of UniSA Business
