JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
WorkLink (WL) is hiring for classroom and job exploration Part-Time Assistants for fall 2022 with the potential for continuation into the spring (depending on program needs). Position will be up to 10 hours per week at $15/hr.
Duties may include helping with WL class sessions (Wednesdays between 9-noon), and/or assisting WL students at other scheduled times throughout the week on vocational exploration, informational interviewing, and learning more about community employment (employers, job-seeking, and soft skills).
We are looking for advanced undergraduate students or masters level counseling students with previous experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
