Founded in 2015, DigitalCrafts offers full-time and part-time online bootcamps in Web Development, Cybersecurity, and UX Design. All classes are taught online by live instructors.

In addition, DigitalCrafts provides enterprise services to corporate clients including educational partnerships, custom corporate training, and consulting / staffing services. UI/UX Lead Instructor – Part Time

We are hiring a fully remote, part-time UI/UX design Instructor to train the next generation of UI/UX Designers. Your primary responsibility will be to use your UI/UX Design expertise to train these aspiring designers through our 26-week part time program.

Responsibilities include:

• Co-leading a classroom of up to 24 aspiring UX Designers Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm and Saturday from 10 am – 2 pm over a 26-week period
• Developing and enhancing curriculum assets for classroom lectures, lab work, homework assignments, and student projects
• Writing technical blog posts and tutorials for curriculum and marketing purposes

Ideal Qualifications:

• Experience as an instructor is not required, but ideal candidates have experience in leading teams, mentoring or extensive public speaking.
• 5+ years of experience in a digital-design related field (UI, UX, IxD, IA)
• Experience with, or the ability to learn, technologies including Sketch, Invision, Photoshop, Axure ● Experience in prototyping and wireframing responsive designs
• Outgoing, organized, friendly, reliable, and patient
• Ability to break down complex concepts into digestible pieces
