Part-Time Lecturer for DT3017 Game Seminar

The School of Art, Design and Media (ADM) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, invites qualified candidates to apply as Part-time Lecturer for DT3017 Game Seminar. The Part-time Lecturer is expected to teach an undergraduate course commencing in August 2024.

In this advanced level course, students will apply play theory, game mechanics, and game

design techniques to create a game that engages meaningfully with an aspect of society.

Students will examine a range of roles that digital games play in society, including simulation,

training, education, and entertainment, and they will identify a context that a digital game

could respond to. The learning in this course directly informs other advanced level

game, animation and interactive oriented courses

Candidates should have at least a Masters and/or PhD in Animation or related field with a track record of production and creative practice in media. Any past teaching experience at Undergraduate Level is preferred. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Animation and sufficient and relevant industry experience may also be considered in exceptional cases.
