About the Opportunity
The College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University invites applications for a non-tenure track part time faculty lecturer in Cooperative Education.
Successful candidates will teach online graduate-level courses related to Cooperative Education and Career Development. This position is located at the Northeastern University Toronto Campus.
The university is unable to work sponsor for this role, now or in the future.
Responsibilities
Teach graduate courses related to cooperative education and career development
aimed at equipping students with the tools and knowledge to conduct an effective job search. The instructor will guide students through the process of discovering their professional identify by helping them assess personal skills, interests and values, and cultural influences and articulating these in a professional setting. The instructor will lead sessions resumes, cover letters, interviewing, job search strategies, professional behaviors etc.
Positions are available contingent upon enrollment.
Qualifications
Master’s degree required. Work in experiential learning, cooperative education, career services or related field preferred. 2+ years teaching experience required. Experience teaching online courses at the graduate level and working with international students is preferred.
