| Job Summary & Key Responsibilities | A part-time academic is required to teach HIST 2205/CANA 2050/INDG 2050, Historical Issues in Indigenous Studies, in the Fall 2024/2025 academic year (September to December 2024). Mondays and Wednesdays 13:05-14:25. The part-time academic is responsible for all aspects of teaching, grading and administration of the class. In addition, the part-time academic is to be available for two hours per week outside of class time for student consultation. The part-time academic reports to the Chair of the History Department. |
| Qualifications/Requirements of Position | Candidates should possess, or be working toward a PhD in History or related field. Research experience in Indigenous studies is preferred. Preference will be given to Indigenous candidates (www.dal.ca/hiringfordiversity ). |
| Salary Range/Pay Rate | As per CUPE Collective Agreement |
