| Brief Position Overview | Under the supervision of the Parking Enforcement Supervisor, Parking Enforcement Officers conduct foot and vehicle patrols of University Parking lots in order to enforce campus parking regulations. Some of the duties will include: patrolling campus parking areas; issuing citations; training and instructing officers on the use of the T2 handheld computer and parking management software; selling vehicle; provide information about the University to visitors; routinely work overtime assignments to assist with parking for special and athletic events; and assisting motorists in distress. |

| General Statement | An opportunity to provide service to the students, staff and visitors of Montana State University and open doors to a career in law enforcement. Progression opportunities available. Under the supervision of the Parking Enforcement Supervisor, Parking Enforcement Officers conduct patrols of University parking lots to ensure a safe parking experience on campus, deter parking violations, and provide motorist assistance. |
