Organisational & Staff Development Manager (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and Staff Engagement)
We are excited to advertise for an Organisational & Staff Development Manager with specific responsibility for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and Staff Engagement. There is genuine commitment from the very top of the University to see our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion vision is realised and this is a unique opportunity to play a key role in practically shaping cultural change and engaging our university community in our vision, helping staff see where we are heading and how they can play a role in getting there. This role will work closely with the new EDI Hub, which has responsibility for co-ordinating strategic change across the organisation. This role will have responsibility for delivering organisational EDI priorities that relate to staff and the workforce. You will motivate and inspire staff at all levels to engage in our activities, leading on the delivery of the University’s Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion staff activities, as well as on the delivery of several Staff Engagement initiatives including our Biennial Staff Survey.
We are looking for a professional practitioner with substantial professional experience of working across the breadth of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion staff and organisational development activities. You will have a detailed understanding of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policy and practice and expertise in supporting staff engagement activities. A confident communicator, you can establish trusting relationships from the outset, and be able to listen to and talk about difficult and complex issues objectively. Talented and creative you will develop inclusive and impactful activities and resources which raise the profile of our staff Equality, Diversity Inclusion activity across the University.
This is a full time, open-ended post.
Salary: £44,737 – £51,805 per annum (Grade 7)
