Order Picker in Ottawa, Ontario

Job Title: Order Picker – Warehouse

Job Description

As an Order Picker, you will be part of a dynamic team that works in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your primary role will be to process orders, which involves picking items from the shelves, building skids for wrapping, and ensuring orders are ready for shipment overnight. The shift runs in the evening and you may be required to work overtime for up to 2 hours a week You will be working independently, not in groups, and are expected to fulfill a minimum of 150 picks an hour. You will be trained to use an electric pallet jack, but previous experience or knowledge of such machinery will be an asset. Candidates must have access to personal transportation due to the location of the warehouse.

Hard Skills

• 3 months minimum warehouse order picking experience

• Ability to use electric pallet jack

• Ability to meet pick orders target of 150 picks an hour

Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently

• Good time management

• Willingness to ask for help when needed

• Must be available to work any day but only 5 days will be required

• An hourly rate of $19/hour
