Order Picker in LANGLEY, British Columbia

Aerotek is hiring an Order Picker for our client located in Aldergrove, BC

This is a full-time and long-term position with benefits

WAGE

  • $21-$24/hr (Depending on experience)

SHIFT

  • Monday to Friday 7:30/9:00 AM to 4:00/5:30 PM

  • Shifts will rotate between a 7:30am to 9:00am start depending on business needs. You need to be available to work either shift.

DESCRIPTION

You will be picking orders (buckets of paint, ranging from 12-60 lbs) by hand and with the use of an electric pallet jack. This is a fast moving, labor intensive environment with a large volume of heavy lifting. Historically, one would pick an order every half an hour so about 10-16 in an 8 hour day. Once trained on order picking, the candidate would be trained on other duties, including tinting (mixing the colors in the paint).

JOB DUTIES

  • This individual will be given a pick ticket and need to pick relevant orders using a ride-on electric pallet jack (Buckets of paint, weights ranging from 12 to 60 lbs)

  • Scanning products using an RF scanner

  • Relabeling certain products

  • Wrap orders using an auto-wrapper

  • Once trained on equipment, the candidate will join the team in performing other duties, including:

  • Loading and unloading trailers with a Forklift (Stand Up & Sit Down)

  • Put aways and replenishments using a Reach Truck

  • Shipping and receiving duties

MUST HAVE

  • 1+ years warehouse experience or similar physical job

  • Has to be looking for and wanting a long-term opportunity

  • Reliable Transportation (Location is not transit accessible)

  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs

  • Steel toe work boots

  • Background check required
