Job Description: The OPS Office Assistant will provide clerical assistance on multiple Cottler lab projects. For the PANDEMIC project, this will range from taking minutes for local team and All Hands project meetings to mailing requested educational materials to partners. Position will update project iPads weekly with pertinent COVID-19 information from the CDC. For the Training Promotoras grant, responsibilities will focus on the national Community Advisory Board, upcoming training phase of the project, and corresponding with Community Champions who will facilitate training Community Health Workers. Specifically, the Assistant will coordinate regular CAB meetings and maintain a listserv as a major source of dissemination of the research training developed for the project. They will submit invoices for honoraria for CAB members’ attendance at meetings. The Assistant will also track data for number of people trained at the site through the project’s materials. Duties for the RPC study will include periodically invoicing the study funder. Additional duties will include clerical assistance for Dr. Cottler and the team.
Expected Salary:

$17.00 – $20.00 per hour, commensurate with education, skills, and experience

Minimum Requirements:

Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Psychology, Social Work or any health related profession
  • Technological skills, experience with Excel
  • Driven to complete projects with minimal supervision
Special Instructions to Applicants:

Schedule: Full-time 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm.
