Operations Team Leader

Student Support & Safeguarding is seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic professional to this exciting role, with responsibility for ensuring the operational support required by the department is provided effectively and efficiently.

About the role:

Responsible for the Operations Team, you will ensure the Student Support Helpdesk provides a high-quality information and signposting service to all students, as well as taking a leading role in the department’s adoption of digital and system improvements, enhancing the student experience and increasing efficiency in ways of working across the service.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 36.5 hours per week.

About you:

You will have experience of managing a team in a service-oriented environment to achieve high levels of performance; project and change management experience in maintaining and developing administrative processes and associated technology and systems; excellent customer service, communication and influencing skills; as well as highly effective team leading skills and an ability to motivate, engage and empower teams to work successfully together.
