One Postdoctoral Fellow position is available immediately at the Canary Center at Stanford for Cancer Early Detection. The successful candidate will join the dynamic and interdisciplinary research group of Dr. Sharon Hori, focusing on the early detection of cancer using approaches in computational/mathematical modeling, artificial intelligence, and cancer biology.
Our diverse team is looking for a motivated, ambitious, and creative scientist with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Applicants in the fields Computer Science, Computational Biology, Systems Biology, Biomedical Engineering (and other Engineering), Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Cancer Biology and related fields are encouraged to apply. Computational researchers with a limited biology background (but strong interest in learning about biological processes and wetlab techniques) and biologists with mathematical, computational, or programming experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
This position will remain open until filled. This position will be offered for a minimum period of 1 year and may be extended based on the performance of the candidate. Salary will be determined based on the experience of the candidate and the University guidelines for Postdoctoral Fellows.
