About the Role
Working on site in Adelaide, South
Australia, two exciting opportunities for industry professionals with
expertise in the disciplines of:
- Information Technology and Data
Analysis, to support the Bachelor of Information Technology (XBIT)
and the Bachelor of Data Analytics (XBDA). Uniquely co-developed
with global consulting and technology powerhouse, Accenture, this
degree will take students beyond the foundations of business
management and teaches the skills to thrive in an increasingly
digital world. - Construction Management, supporting
the Bachelor of Construction Management (XBBE) and Bachelor of
Construction Management Honours (XHCM). Critical to the success
of the role will be working on site to establish strong
partnerships with stakeholders across the University to ensure
that UniSA Online identifies and responds to strategic
opportunities, and effectively leading and mentoring academic
staff within the teaching team.
The successful candidates will
contribute to the design, development and teaching of engaging course
curricula and materials for the online program. You will implement
teaching approaches that maximise the student experience and learning
outcomes, whilst contributing to the recruitment and development of
teaching staff within UniSA Online.
Critical to the success of the role, you
will have knowledge, skills and understanding for how different
industries and business can transform their organisations utilising
current and emerging technologies. For example, the digitisation of
the University sector.
* Within the University of South Australia the Online
Lecturer role holds the title of Online Course Facilitator.
*This position is located in Adelaide and does not have
capacity to work remotely.

Provost & Chief Academic Officer, delivers high quality,
supportive, flexible and interactive online education for students,
and embodies the corporate values of innovation, client service and
academic excellence.
Core Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design,
development and teaching of engaging course curricula and
materials for new, fully online, undergraduate programs - Work collaboratively with staff in
UniSA Online, Academic Units, Teaching Innovation Unit and other
key stakeholders across the University to design learning
activities and implement teaching approaches that maximise the
student experience and learning outcomes - Undertake teaching as part of a
teaching team, including co-ordinating moderation of assessment
activities, learning support and evaluation - Undertake course coordination
activities and provide leadership and day-to-day management of
other academic staff within the teaching team - Contribute to the recruitment and
development of induction and training procedures for teaching
staff within UniSA Online
Essential Skills and Experience
- A postgraduate degree in a relevant
discipline, or relevant work experience - Evidence of recent teaching
experience and discipline knowledge within a relevant field - Demonstrated passion for and
proficiency in undertaking teaching duties including the design
and preparation of online teaching activities and resources - Demonstrated knowledge and
experience of a wide range of education technologies such as
learning management systems (LMS – e.g. Moodle, BlackBoard, or
Canvas), and virtual classrooms - Demonstrated competence in using
information systems that support online learning and course administration
