Online Lecturer (Digital Business Solutions) Teaching Academic Level B

• Working from the City West campus, Adelaide and based in UniSA Online
• Full-time, fixed term contract until 31 December 2023
• Commencement Salary: $104,838 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About the Role 

Working on site in Adelaide, South Australia, this is an exciting opportunity for an industry professional with expertise in the discipline of Business and Data Analysis, to support the launch of the our new Bachelor of Digital Business (XBDB) in conjunction with Accenture. 

Uniquely co-developed with global consulting and technology powerhouse, Accenture, this degree will take students beyond the foundations of business management and teaches the skills to thrive in an increasingly digital world.  

The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development and teaching of engaging course curricula and materials for the online program. You will implement teaching approaches that maximise the student experience and learning outcomes, whilst contributing to the recruitment and development of teaching staff within UniSA Online. 

Critical to the success of the role, you will have knowledge, skills and understanding for how different industries and business can transform their organisations, utilising current and emerging technologies. For example, the digitisation of the University sector.  

* Within the University of South Australia the Online Lecturer role holds the title of Online Course Facilitator.

*This position is located in Adelaide and does not have capacity to work remotely.

Essential Skills and Experience

To be successful you will have a doctoral qualification or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline along with recent teaching experience and discipline expertise in the areas of Business and Data Analysis. Your experience in using a range of teaching methodologies and education technologies that support online learning and course administration is essential together with expertise in the design and preparation of online teaching resources. You will have a high level of both written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build a positive culture within your team.
