Benefits

Monthly maintenance allowance amount: The amount of the grant is € 875,98, with reference to the table of values of grants awarded directly by FCT, I.P. in the country, payment being made monthly by bank transfer.

Eligibility criteria

Mandatory requirements: Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Industrial Engineering and Management, attending a course leading to a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management.

For holders of a bachelor’s degree obtained in foreign higher education institutions, it is required to register the recognition of academic degrees awarded by foreign higher education institutions and register the conversion of the respective final classification into the Portuguese classification scale, or alternatively, a declaration of honor from the applicant that he/she has obtained the recognition of the foreign degree equivalent to a bachelor’s degree by the application deadline.

Preferred factors:

Familiarity with Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Environment Management in Organizations and Forecast Techniques;

Professional experience or short-term internship, preferably in companies related to the valorization of biomass and logistics systems.

Volunteering work, social and relationship skills; Good command of Portuguese and English.

Selection process

Selection criteria:

The selection methods to be used will be as follows: curriculum evaluation and interview, with a respective value of 60 and 40 percent, respectively.

Applications deemed admissible will be scored on a scale of 0 to 100 points on each of the following evaluation criteria.

– Percentage weighting of curricular assessment WITHOUT interview:

Average of Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering Science and Management: 25 percent Grading in the UC Supply Chain Management: 10%.

Grading in the UC Environment Management in Organizations: 10%. Grading in the UC Forecast Techniques: 10%

Relevant professional experience: 20%.

Good command of Portuguese and English: 15%. Social and relationship skills: 10%.

– Percentage weighting WITH interview: Result of the curricular evaluation: 60%. Interview: 40%

The personal interview will be held for all applicants who score above 80 points in the curriculum evaluation component WITHOUT interview, if there is more than one eligible applicant.
