These positions will be established within a Villum Investigator Grant and, potentially, some of the other industrial and EU projects.
The ideal applicant must have an MSc degree in communication engineering, electronic engineering, wireless communications, statistical signal processing, machine learning, applied statistics, networking, or similar. Priority will be given to candidates who have an educational/research background on two or more of the following:
Each candidate should submit a 1-page project proposal, outlining her/his vision for a potential research project within the area of 6G and future communication systems. One or more of the following documented experience is a plus: programming, experience with complex system/link level simulators, data analysis, experimental work with embedded systems and software-defined radio, communication/signal processing for metamaterials with new electromagnetic properties.
You may obtain further information from Petar Popovski, Department of Electronic Systems, phone: +4599409897, email: petarp@es.aau.dk , concerning the scientific aspects of the stipend.
PhD stipends are allocated to individuals who hold a Master’s degree. PhD stipends are normally for a period of 3 years.
