Hiring Unit:
McGill Office for Science & Society (Dept. of Chemistry)
 

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of the McGill Office for Science and

    Society (OSS) and the Director of Communications and Public

    Affairs, this individual will assist with the communications

    efforts of the  OSS.

   

    •        Assemble the weekly newsletter

    •        Post articles on the OSS website

    •        Produce videos using existing content for social media

    •        Research and write scientific articles (if time permits)

    •        Assist with OSS events, as needed

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

Strong written and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience working with various social media platforms. Experience with Drupal 9 (McGill’s web management system).   Experience and education: Pursuing a degree in science with a strong interest in science communications.
