Required License/Registration/Certification LICENSED NURSE; BLS for the healthcare provider issued by the American Heart Association valid through 6 months from initial employment date required.
Physical Requirements The essential functions for this position include the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50-100 pounds on a daily basis and 25-50 pounds frequently; as well as stand, walk and sit for long periods of time. The conditions of work may involve exposure to communicable diseases, hazards of radiation, and injury from intractable patients or sharp instruments.
Shift Primarily day shift but other shifts as needed to cover the needs of the department including the potential for some weekends and holidays
Job Summary This position has responsibility for administrative, business and operational planning and assessment of the Pediatrics Service Line at Chandler and /or UK HealthCare Enterprise. He/she is intimately involved in the development, implementation, and execution of the strategic plans for perioperative and nursing services.
3 years operating room experience. Basic understanding of patient throughput within the perioperative services and specific areas of responsibility

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities 3 years operating room experience
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No
Preferred Education/Experience Previous management or coordinator experience within an Operating Room is preferred. Previous OR experience in Pediatrics preferred.
