| Job Summary | The Divisions of Pediatric Allergy & Immunology seeks a Registered Nurse to provide dedicated support to a Pediatric Allergist/Immunologist. This position will be responsible for clinical support related to allergy and immunology needs. The RN will be trained to perform administration of allergy shots and will be responsible for pharmaceutical duties within scope and performing key specialty testing. The RN will also support the allergy/immunology practice as related to oversight of the immunotherapy patients. The Nurse Clinical Ambulatory provides disease specific patient care to a group of patients who have serious acute and/or chronic health events or who are seeking healthcare to maintain their state of wellness. Responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to skilled assessments, care plans and care plan implementation, patient education and clinical evaluation or interventions. This position requires working with medical professionals who are working under time and efficiency constraints in a busy ambulatory care setting with a patient centered care focus on quality, safety, and service. A working knowledge of enterprise, nursing, departmental policies, protocols, and procedures is needed to be successful. |
