The External Relations team, including fundraising, marketing, communications, and brand stewardship, is crucial to this mission. The Mass Markets USA (MMUSA) program is responsible for generating over $70 million in unrestricted revenue annually and plays a key role in elevating IRC’s brand and supporting its advocacy goals.
Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Officer, Bridge Giving to lead the newly launched Bridge Giving program for donors giving $500-$999. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Mid-level Giving, you will be leading and implementing strategies to encourage donors to increase their support for IRC. You will play a pivotal role in developing the mid-level pipeline, rapidly growing donor engagement, fostering stronger relationships, and contributing to IRC’s long-term impact.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning (20%):
•Lead and manage the execution of the Bridge Giving program.
•Implement a multi-channel donor engagement strategy tailored to the diverse interests and giving potential of IRC supporters.
•Use data to guide decisions on donor segments and find opportunities for increased giving.
•Manage the program budget to ensure resources are used effectively to maximize impact.
Campaign Coordination & Communication (40%):
•Lead all aspects of campaigns across various channels, including mail, email, telemarketing, SMS, and paid media, working closely with team members and external partners.
•Support seamless donor engagement processes, including thank you communications and acknowledgment activities.
•Contribute to campaign project management and ensure all project plans are updated regularly.
•Facilitate meetings, updates, and project reviews with internal and external collaborators.
•Ensure alignment of the Bridge Giving program with broader fundraising and donor engagement efforts.
Donor Engagement & Stewardship (20%):
•Lead the Bridge Giving Ambassador program to deliver personalized donor engagement experiences.
•Collaborate with broader MMUSA teams and channel leads to provide tailored communications and services that improve donor satisfaction.
Vendor Management (10%):
•Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliverables and high-quality execution of campaigns.
•Maintain a focus on donor data integrity and program performance.
Reporting & Analysis (10%):

Qualifications:
Education and work experience
•Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field preferred OR at least 6 years of experience in fundraising, marketing, or a related field.
•Proven ability to lead complex projects and relationships with multiple partners.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Experience working with CRMs such as RaisersEdge, Salesforce, or other platforms.
•Nonprofit experience is a plus, but a strong commitment to IRC’s mission is essential.

Compensation:
Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
US Benefits:
The IRC offers a comprehensive and highly competitive set of benefits. All US employees are eligible for sick time, a 403b retirement savings plans: up to 4.5% immediately vested matching contribution, plus an 3-7% additional IRC contribution, and an Employee Assistance Program which is available to our staff and their families to support in times of crisis and mental health struggles.
In addition, full-time employees are eligible for 10 US paid holidays, 20-25 paid time off days, disability & life insurance, medical, dental, and vision insurance (employee contribution starting at $135, $7, and $5 per month respectively) and FSA for healthcare, childcare, and commuter costs. Part-time employees are eligible for a proportionate amount of paid time off. These additional benefits apply to employees who work at least 6 months within a 12 month time period.
