  • Provide the needed support in the implementation of quality RH program activities at the IRC’s supported health facilities.
  • Provide technical training to field-based RH related staff. 
  •  To ensure that reproductive health services are provided in relevant health facilities according to the BPHS. This includes staffing, equipment, services provided, etc.
  • To ensure that health facilities provide standard and quality reproductive health services.
  • Provide support to Provincial Health managers and health facilities to achieve reproductive health targets.
  • Ensure that all standard procedures related to sexual and reproductive health are followed correctly by health facilities staff.
  • Conduct regular supportive supervision from field office and provide on the job training for RH related staff.
  • Ensure national guidelines and policies related to reproductive health services are properly followed and implemented in all health facilities.
  • Take care of facility RH supplies with all relevant departments and work closely with the pharmacy team to prevent stockouts.
  • Submit monthly activities plan at the start of each month.
  • Submit the supervision visit plan every quarter.
  • Coordinate reproductive health activities and needs with the RH manager.
  • Prepare and arrange the training according to the RH section training plan in close coordination with the RH manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in medical health. Graduated from a recognized medical faculty.
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in same position.
  • Experience in emergency response, including rapid assessments and needs analysis.
  • Experience in hygiene promotion in humanitarian contexts.
  • Excellent knowledge of working in BPHS.
  • Excellent knowledge to speak and write English. Pashto/Dari.
  • Good level of literacy and numeracy of computer skills.
  • Familiarity with IRC role and regulation can be an advantage.
  • Creativity and the ability to work with limited resources
