We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the “Bridging Futures” initiative, a groundbreaking project encouraging collaboration and the exchange of standard processes between Greece and Norway. This is a remarkable opportunity to work on a transnational initiative aimed at supporting former unaccompanied children as they transition into adulthood.

Major Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Project Management and Coordination:
•Coordinate the daily operations and ensure the successful implementation of the “Bridging Futures” project.
•Manage project timelines, deliverables, and budget, ensuring all activities are carried out according to the plan.
•Foster communication and collaboration between the project’s collaborators, including IRC Hellas, the Municipality of Oslo, and other partners.
•Coordinate and lead bi-national meetings, workshops, and training sessions, ensuring effective knowledge sharing and standard methodologies.
•Develop and coordinate the project’s implementation plan and monitoring framework, ensuring goals and key performance indicators are met.
Collaborating and Communicating with Partners:
•Work closely with customers, team members, and partners to establish valuable connections with civil society organizations, educational institutions, and local government bodies.
•Prioritize and facilitate meetings with different collaborators, including roundtable discussions, to address challenges and solutions associated with the integration of youth refugees.
•Ensure that communication activities, such as project newsletters and press releases, are carried out to raise awareness about the project.
Capacity Building and Training:
•Coordinate the design and delivery of training sessions passionate about socio-emotional skills development and employability for young refugees.
•Lead the development of educational materials and guidelines aimed at improving the capacity of professionals working with young refugees.
Monitoring, Reporting, and Evaluation:
•Monitor project progress, assess risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure the successful achievement of project objectives.
•Prepare high-quality progress and final reports for internal use and for submission to donors and partners.
•Manage project budget, ensuring that all financial and operational aspects of the project are transparent and aligned with donor requirements.
Communication and Dissemination:
•Coordinate with partners for the creation and distribution of the labor market integration guide for young refugees, using the SEAD (Social Emotional Asset Development) methodology.
•Coordinate media outreach and project promotion events to ensure widespread dissemination of project results.
Coordination & Representation:
•Attend IRC meetings to share information and coordinate efforts internally.
Other:
•Other duties as assigned by the Senior Livelihoods Manager to enable and develop IRC programs.
Education:
•MA/S or equivalent in human rights, education, social sciences, or other relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
•At least three years of experience implementing child protection and/or integration programming. Experience working with unaccompanied children is a plus.
•Strong training and technical assistance skills and significant experience leading participatory trainings, capacity building, and mentoring of professionals or local partners.
•Strong technical capacity in child protection and understanding of the needs of the target population.
•Good computer skills in programs such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
•Personal qualities: Great teammate, adaptable, diplomatic, relationship-builder, skilled negotiator, aware of gender and cultural differences, and able to thrive under pressure.
•Proficiency in Greek and English.
•Experience in EU funded projects and consortiums are desirable assets.
•Promote and actively participate in initiatives and efforts to build team engagement, inclusion and cohesion in IRC Hellas.
•Foster ongoing learning, honest dialogue and reflection to strengthen safeguarding and to promote IRC values and adherence to IRC policies 
Working Environment
•A combination of standard office environment and remote work.
