NEW Program Engagement Assistant Junior level – Junior Seefar Enterprise Closing 15th of October Remote |

Overview

Seefar is a social enterprise with a mission to work with vulnerable people to build a better future. We work in East Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, East Africa, North Africa, the Sahel and Europe. For more information about us, please visit our website. You can also see examples of our research on the website but note that most of our research is unpublished – we are not an advocacy group and the priority for our research is to improve operations.

The Programme Engagement Assistant will support the implementation of our business development strategy by identifying new opportunities, managing proposal development, coordinating donor engagement efforts, and developing business development tools and materials. This role is for someone wanting to be part of a team that secures funding for programmes that deliver social impact.  As the Programme Engagement Assistant, you will identify opportunities at the intersection of beneficiary needs, Seefar’s capabilities and donor interest.

You will report to Seefar’s Fundraising & Partnership Officer responsible for fundraising, marketing and external communications.

You can be based anywhere in the world and occasional travel will be required. Seefar has been a remote-working organisation since 2014.

You will start on a full-time, 9-month consulting contract (3 month probationary period) with a fee range of USD 3,000- 3,500 per month, with the possibility of a long-term role in the Enterprise based on performance evaluation.

  • Excellent listening skills as part of your broader influencing skills.

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.

  • Ability to work autonomously within a remote and global team environment.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
