Background/IRC Summary:
This position will be based in Raqqa (Raqqa Center) and will focus on supporting rule of law protection programs in Northeast Syria. The International Rescue Committee is working to expand the scope of the PRoL portfolio in Northeast Syria programs, including adding legal aid activities. The Legal Community Mobilization Program will play a key role in supporting and expanding the legal component of the IRC’s protection programming. They are expected to directly support vulnerable refugees, IDPs and members of the host community to access their legal rights through awareness sessions and individual legal advice in coordination with the legal supervisor and legal aid. The Legal Community Mobilizer will report to the Legal Director in Raqqa
