NEW High Voltage Electrician Mid level – Grade 6 – Internationally recruited position – Operational Support or Technician MFO – Multinational Force & Observers Closing 15th of November Sharm el-Sheikh

The Multinational Force and Observers seeks an experienced High Voltage Electrician for his two camps in the Sinai.

He/She will oversee the operation and maintenance activities of the HV distribution system, switchgear, and transformers at either North or South Camp as required. This includes the installation, monthly inspection, test and repair of electrical substations, generator sets, and underground primary electrical distribution systems. The ideal candidate will provide the knowledge and application of electrical and electronic principles and procedures, assist in the development of plans for power distribution, carry out safety training for a team of local workers, and keep detailed records of all work undertaken.

Experience required:

The successful candidate will have:

 

–       A recognized Certification/License for working 22 KV systems from Home Country;

–       At least 10 years’ experience in all types of HV Electrical configurations;

–       Excellent organization skills;

–       Fluency in English;

–       Experience working with multiple cultures is highly desirable

 

A two-year renewable unaccompanied-status contract including free housing, meals, worldwide health insurance and recreational facilities is offered, as well as a competitive salary in US dollars. May be eligible for tax free status.

This position carries an Annual Total Salary of USD 72,000.
