Intro inspire is one of the largest private providers of further education programmes in Austria. We offer business language courses for international companies as well as the public sector. inspire is ISO 9001 certified and has been awarded the Ö-Cert seal for adult education. With an ever growing clientele, we are looking for qualified candidates to fill freelance English teaching positions. At the moment we are specifically looking for a teacher with a vast experience teaching Legal English. Tasks Your tasks and responsibilities: Conduct English language training for various target groups, particularly in the areas of public administration/public service and law Tailor training content to the specific needs of the participants Conduct both online and in-person training sessions Focus on the application of the English language in an international context and in EU committees Conduct exam and exam preparation courses (e.g., Cambridge B2 First) Requirements Your profile: Native English speaker Relevant university degree At least 5 years of experience in conducting language training Strong knowledge of English terminology, especially Austrian terms in the fields of public administration/public service and law Comprehensive knowledge of Austrian administration, particularly federal administration Basic knowledge of the Austrian legal system Experience in independently managing at least 5 language training projects that met the following requirements: Tailoring training content to the needs of specific target groups (e.g., public administration employees, healthcare industry) with a focus on “working in an international environment or in EU committees”. Covering various formats of specialized language training: – At least 1 online training session covering current specialized topics, such as public health, arts and culture, climate change – At least 1 training session with at least 10 consecutive units, each lasting a minimum of 60 minutes, e.g., preparation for the Cambridge B2 First exam – At least 1 training session aimed at improving pronunciation, reading, or listening skills Benefits We offer: Competitive Salary and Benefits: Enjoy a rewarding compensation package that reflects your expertise and experience, the starting rate is 26/hour but open to negotation.
