Offer Description

Title of the project: Expansive pathologies of the skull base: anatomical, clinical, pathological, and translational trasversal research.
Research program: The Unit of Otolaryngology of the University of Brescia is an international referral center for head and neck oncologic surgery and anterior skull base surgery, which collaborates with a surgical anatomy lab. Among its main objectives, a multidisciplinary research with the Institute Angelo Nocivelli for molecular medicine has been established. Given that, the recruited researcher should be focused on enhancing, both scientifically and surgically, advanced endoscopic sinonasal and anterior skull base surgery. The researcher will also be expected to enhance the group dedicated to translational research on prognostic factors in head and neck tumors.
Tasks of the candidate: The winner will develop the above research project.
Teaching activities: Teaching and integrative activities will be pertinent to the scientific disciplinary field of Otorhinolaryngology, section of the Medicine Area of the University of Brescia. The Researcher may supervise thesis and PhD dissertations, tutor students, and organize seminars and congresses.

Requirements for being admitted to the selection: Specialization Diploma in Otorhinolaryngology
Preferential title for selective evaluation: PhD obtained in Italy or abroad in a discipline related to the competition sector.
