Job Description:

Video Production

Operates video switchers, remote-controlled cameras, and other equipment used to produce video content

Directs recording/streaming in live classroom setting

Assists faculty in use of technologies related to production

Video System Maintenance

Tests and adjusts audio-video equipment used in streamed production

Troubleshoots basic problems with A/V and video production systems and contacts other tech staff as needed for support.

Support

Performs video editing as needed

Supports other staff as a production assistant as needed.

Monitors the distribution and quality of streamed content.

Administrative

Planning and scheduling for production

Communication, correspondence, and email

Expected Salary:

22.74 per hour 

Minimum Requirements:

A high school diploma and one year of appropriate experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher in a technical related field
  • 1 or more years of experience with video or A/V equipment
  • Knowledge of video camera operation
  • Knowledge of video switcher operation
  • Basic understanding of audio and video signal flows
  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills
