With a focus on the drive interface of the future, you will develop innovative ideas through to series production. As our product development is spread across several locations in Austria, we can offer you this position in Eggelsberg, Salzburg, Schärding, Vöcklabruck or Linz. • Conception and implementation of a control-side driver software for the drive technology of the future and a new fieldbus generation
• Developing solution proposals within an interdisciplinary project team from the concept to the finished software package
• Close collaboration with the drive firmware and motion software UI development teams
• Development and testing of new technologies for a future-oriented implementation of the drive interface
• Consideration of unit tests and continuous integration as early as the concept development phase

Your background

• Sound technical education (FH, TU) in the field of computer science or software engineering
• Knowledge and experience in the field of fieldbuses (POWERLINK, OPC UA FX, …) and drive profiles
• Sound knowledge of programming in C++ and ANSI C
• Analytical and solution-oriented way of thinking
• Open-minded personality with a high degree of organizational and team skills
• Independent and structured way of working, high self-motivation and communication skills
• Very good written and spoken English. Good knowledge of German is an advantage
