We are seeking a skilled Matplotlib Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining data visualization tools and libraries primarily using Matplotlib. You will collaborate with data science teams to create compelling visualizations that effectively communicate complex datasets and insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Visualizations: Create static, animated, and interactive visualizations using Matplotlib to represent complex data clearly and accurately.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with data scientists and analysts to understand their visualization needs and translate them into effective graphical representations.
- Optimize Performance: Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability while maintaining data accuracy and integrity in visual outputs.
- Documentation: Provide thorough documentation for developed visualizations and tools for internal use, ensuring that they are easily understandable by other team members.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends in data visualization and Matplotlib features to continuously improve the quality of visual outputs.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of Python programming and the Matplotlib library, with a portfolio showcasing previous visualization projects.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and their application in data visualization.
- Experience with additional libraries such as NumPy or Pandas is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with other visualization libraries (e.g., Seaborn, Plotly) or frameworks is advantageous.
