Job Summary:
The Master’s in Migration Studies program is seeking a MIMS Graduate Assistant for Fall 2022 and Spring 2023.
Full Job Description:
The goal of this position is to support MIMS staff in their efforts to communicate the available support, resources, opportunities, and news regarding the Migration Studies Program.
Expectations:

• Excellent editing and grammar skills
• Organized and able to meet center deadlines
• Able to practice good judgment and work ethic
Under the supervision of the Academic Director and Program Assistant, the MIMS Graduate Assistant could perform all or part of the next tasks:

Help contribute to social media content for MIMS’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram sites by either sharing and uploading content directly to the sites or forwarding suggestions to MIMS staff.

Assist with general office tasks such as preparing mailings, distributing flyers/mail, design flyers.

Assist with research of potential community partners, donors, and scholarships

Work on various projects as assigned and needed
-
Conduct outreach to prospective students by phone and email as requested

Attend information sessions and recruiting events with admission staff if needed
-
Conduct campus tours and host class visits
-
Additional duties as assigned

Translate the Ibero Spanish guide into English

Cataloguing books.
